Comments about the songs

The songs by TMR marked as rehearsal are just a jam we recorded in April 2011 and I was playing an electronic kit. It was fairly tough to play really well and there are some flubs in may playing but broadly they are ok.
It is interesting listing back to rehearsals as it show me some weaknesses in my playing that I previously hadn't noticed. The two new songs General Disarry and Camel in a snowstorm have promise so I'm very pleased.

the songs marked Andy Balcam are a project I played on last year. You will notice that one thing is very clear in the playing. I can't swing. There is the short instrumental at the end called The Saucy Shake and I can hear all sorts of mistakes in there. Overall there are a few timing glitches but nothing that stands out of massive concern which is nice.

Next are the three TMR official (sort of) tracks. These are the result of studio recordings from 2010 and they are very strong songs. These only have guide vocals and are missing a guitar part or two as can be seen by listening to the guitar solo that Mike sings... Sounds brilliant, he should do that live in my opinion.

Inchblue is next and there is a set of tracks from back in 2003(ish). The best one by a country mile for me is Skin on Skin

Then 5 covers from scarlett - I loved playing these though I can hear all sorts of things I need to work on in these recordings.

Then we have the Godmuffin tracks... A little bit mental but I love Beautiful Evil and the fact that we played Too Many DJS by Soulwax live. If anyone has a recording of us playing it then shout.

Next up some old school Bluedog - recorded in 2001 (i think) and the engineer was the same as for the TMR tracks on demo above. Damon Sawyer did a great job then and has excelled himself with the tracks we did more recently. Can't grumble at all - lvoed every minute of it.

Then mcfly - yes I really was in mcfly, before the band everyone knows as McFly came to exist... We did pop and it was fun but short lived which is a shame.

Finally, Sulum. Miserable music that we loved to play and people loved to hear... can't go wrong.
